Supporting Armed Forces Day 2015 at Himley Hall

We’re proud to support Armed Forces Day 2015, taking place at Himley Hall and Park on Sunday, 28th June.

The day celebrates the service and dedication of the UK’s armed forces past and present. Dudley Council will honour local veterans during the event with special badge presentations.

A Day to Recognise and Celebrate

Running from 11am to 5pm, the event includes:

Veterans’ badge presentations by the Mayor of Dudley
A youth marching band competition
Historic military vehicles on display
Family fun, including a zip line and children’s activities
Live band performances
The Beating of the Retreat to close the day

Veterans who qualify for the HM Armed Forces Veterans Badge can have theirs formally presented at the event.

How to Apply for Your Veterans Badge

If you’re entitled to the badge, apply in advance so it can be presented on the day.

Eligible veterans include those from the Second World War, Arctic Convoys, and Bomber Command.
