A Visit request…

On Friday 26th June 2015, The Label People were delighted to host a visit with our local MP Gavin Williamson and his P.A and friend Will.  We were all very excited when Will asked if Gavin could pop along and see us, and of course we were thrilled to meet Gavin and the chance to show off our new premises.

We were a little short staffed with holidays but Gavin and Will were so lovely we found we were chatting away like old friends for quite some time and nearly forgot to show our visitors our premises and all the things we manufacture in such a relatively small team.

Gavin and Will took our small tour and showed a lot of interest in our products, especially our “Dome” Labels with there unique 3d design, and Gavin being good fun “checked” a couple of labels for quality as we were so short staffed!  Gavin’s parents were experienced with printing so could relate to our issues that our customers and ourselves face in this face paced environment.

We also learnt a lot about parliament which was very interesting with lots of protocols.  Thank you again to Gavin and Will, we all really enjoyed our visit, you are of course welcome for coffee any time.

Team The Label People

Feel free to read about what Gavin had to say here on his website, and take a look and support local issues that Gavin is also tackling.

“Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited The Label People a local business based in Wombourne.

The business which produces custom printed labels, signs and tags has been running for 9 years and has grown considerably since it began. The company was started at home, processing orders and outsourcing manufacturing. The company decided to start their own manufacturing and expanded, employing 7 people and relocating to Wombourne Enterprise Park. The company now produces bespoke labels for leading brands around the world.”
