MP Visit to The Label People: Gavin Williamson Drops By
On Friday 26th June 2015, we welcomed a special guest our local MP, Gavin Williamson, and his P.A., Will.
Will kindly asked if Gavin could visit. Of course, we were thrilled and eager to show off our new premises.
A Friendly Welcome and Great Conversation
Although we were a little short staffed due to holidays, the visit felt relaxed and informal. Gavin and Will were both friendly and engaging. We ended up chatting like old friends before remembering to start the tour!
Exploring Our Factory and Products
During the MP visit to The Label People, we showed Gavin around our manufacturing space. He took a real interest in our process especially our dome labels with their standout 3D finish.
Gavin even gave a few labels his own “quality check” and joked about joining the team!
Shared Experience and Industry Insight
Gavin’s parents worked in print, so he understood many of the challenges we face. It was refreshing to talk business with someone who gets it.
In return, we learned more about life in Parliament and the many protocols MPs follow. It was a great two-way exchange.
Our Growth Journey
We shared our story how we started at home, outsourcing production, and grew into a manufacturer with a team and workspace.
Now based at Wombourne Enterprise Park, we supply custom printed labels to businesses across the UK and beyond.
